I enjoy all the bits of insight into Megatron here. It's not entirely clear to the reader what he's expecting and intending, but it's not clear to Thundercracker, either, which works out.
And...yeah, I do expect that this'll take more than just the one more part to resolve. Which is good news for us, since you'll planning on writing more than the one, but I get how it's less good news for you!
